I typically follow a double-diamond approach to explore opportunities by coming up with lots of ideas and then honing them down to the most promising options.
Discover
I dig in to understand the problem and any constraints in the Discover phase. I figure out the business needs, the technical constraints, and the user needs. If there are any gaps in understanding, I typically conduct stakeholder interviews, ideation sessions, or conduct user research to gain more understanding.
